GAYLE GRIN, AN INDEPENDENT DESIGNER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR IN NOVA SCOTIA

As a special project for the Toronto Star, my editor and I conceptualized and launched Together, a new Sunday section designed to celebrate inspiring people and places in Toronto – offering a much-needed dose of joy during the challenging times of the pandemic. With a lean team of just two, we went from concept to launch in under two weeks.
Within four months, Together won the INMA Global Media Award for Best Use of Print, recognizing the impact
and success of the project.
